“During covid was difficult for us as the normality of our day to day business changed overnight as it did for everyone but we all decided to help were we could. All the team here at Urban Estates decided to take on responsibility within their area to work with a food bank, early 2020 we were working with one food bank and provided food and medicine deliveries to around 30-40 households a week who were isolating, within six months we were working with around five food banks across and deliveries were in Manchester, Bolton, Oldham, Rochdale the north west and we collectively around 450 families a month with many new volunteers coming on board and wanting to help in this hour of need. Even though it was hard and tiring work we felt well rewarded know that families with children had food donated on their table. In 2020 alone the who team collectively throughout the North West managed to deliver around 18000”.
“Our plans for the future are to continue to work hard for our clients and provide them a service they require, we will continue to work very closely with the local food banks providing donations and food when needed, we have recently donated computers to a impoverished school in Asia ”.
